Echo Literary and Arts Magazine
As design editor for three years and editor-in-chief for two, Echo was a labor of love throughout my undergrad. We published works of art, photography, poetry, and prose in an annual journal which launched at our yearly release party.
Special thanks to Nikita Belathur for design assistance.
Print Collateral for SDCT and CID
As an intern for UT’s School of Design and Creative Technologies and the Center for Integrated Design, I designed:
t-shirts for incoming students
a logo for The Future of Design and Higher Education annual conference
materials for enterprise design thinking workshops with Southwest Airlines
print collateral for program outreach and the school’s first career fair
an annual report for the Dean of The College of Fine Arts
Floating Torii Gate
I CNC-ed a torii gate out of plywood, affixed it with blocks of styrofoam that I cut with a heated wire, painted it to appear 2D in a 3D space, and assembled it on-site because it was too big to fit through the doorway. The goal was to see if it would float: it worked!
Pros: Power tools are awesome; it actually floated
Cons: I had mosquito bites for weeks from standing in the water…
